Week 33/15/2023 This week is Week 3 of The Genius Hour Project. This week I went to band during flex on Monday, Wednesday. Then I am going to practice on Wednesday during Genius Hour. This week I need to focus on getting my air stream correct for higher notes. The air stream and type of air you need to play flute is completely different from playing clarinet. For flute you actually have to focus your air so you don't over blow. Because when you over blow on flute it makes your notes sound airy which isn't good. When you play with an airy sound it makes you run out of air faster. Meaning you would need to breath more often. Another thing I have noticed that is different between Clarinet and Flute is how much air is needed to be able to play the instrument. For clarinet you have to blow a lot of air but it is easier to control meaning you can go longer while playing with out breathing. But with flute it is harder to control your air. So you must focus the air to get higher and lower notes.
